St Peregrine Mass for the sick will take place on Wednesday 4th January at 7.30pm in St Aidan’s Church Butlersbridge. St Peregrine is the patron saint of cancer patients. Anointing with St Peregrine oil will be offered at the Mass.

St Clare’s Chapel ADORATION

New Year Arrangements

Eucharistic Adoration will take place in St Clare’s over Christmas and New Year as follows:

New Years Day 11am – 2pm

Eucharistic Adoration 11am to 7pm daily. In order to facilitate social distancing, it will be held in the main part of the church until further notice. New members to undertake 1 hour of pray per week in the presence of the Blessed of the Sacrament are especially welcome. Contact Liam at 087 2358440 to arrange your hour.

LECTIO DIVINA, a prayerful reading of the Sunday gospel has resumed each Tuesday after 10am Mass in the Cathedral. Come and give it a try for half an hour in the Conference room behind the altar.

Bank Tap Facility

A number of people requested that we install online facilities as they do not use cash any more. There are 3 “Tap” machines installed in the Cathedral: Front Porch One at each Candleabra


ENVELOPES 2023

Envelopes for 2023 will be ready for distribution from Monday 19th December 2022. We are asking distributors to call to the Presbytery from Monday onwards to collect the boxes. We also need new distributors to help in some areas. Please contact the Presbytery 049 4331404 if you can help us.


Monthly Collection If you would like to contribute towards the upkeep of the priests in our parish for 2022 and have not done so your contribution will be welcome at the weekend Masses or drop your contribution in a clearly marked envelope into the Presbytery. It explores how our spiritual values call us to take action on the planetary emergency.
